so what's going on here?

As all games go, this is a mecha sci-fi game, inspired by different sci-fi and mecha things out there. It revolves around the lives of the people on the colony on Mars and it's military front.

crossing the line?

JFC, please don't cross the ic/ooc line. This cannot be stressed enough! If you want to play a character that's shy, go for it. You want to play someone that's always in everyone's face? Go right ahead! But just because a writer plays a character a certain way doesn't mean you can bash them OOC. All character interactions are in-character. Please don't be a dick and mistreat someone because of their character. This is meant to be fun and engaging! If you feel like lines are blurring too much, or someone is bordering on bullying, please bring it to the moderator team's attention so the mods can mediate before it becomes an issue. This can't be stress enough.

when you apply...

Journals are all linked together on a public server (unless marked) and can be ic or ooc, whatever tickles your fancy. If you're recycling an old journal, please make sure everything is marked private. Played-Bys: Since adult themes can occur here, please have the played-by be at least 18. The five year rule will apply here. Which means you can age down or age up your played-by by five years. Please don't use any deceased played-bys. There are so many celebrities to choose from that we should be respectful. Character Caps: Each player can have up to FOUR characters. Before applying for your next character, please be active with your first one. Please wait at least 2.5 weeks prior to applying for additional characters. When applying for additional characters, please state in the drop box that the character belongs to you, if you fail to disclose this, it will be grounds for dismissal.

updates and activity!

Updates are important and the bread and butter of activity and the livelihood of a game. If there's no activity, the game dies. There will be one update required for the month with a mid-month check-in. But this doesn't mean you're limited to one update. You can scene with others to your heart's content! If you intend to have NC-17 or triggers, please put them behind a warning tag when posting in the main community. If you do not place it in the main comm, it will not count towards your activity.

discord, wire, etc

Any apps outside of ij are not needed for this game and discouraged. If you want to use discord, that's fine but if you intend to use discord for rp purposes, you have to make sure it's logged in the main comm. If it isn't there, it didn't happen. Please utilize the fp.
